Simplifying the Home Buying Journey
Smart Move is a digital homeownership readiness platform designed to guide first-time buyers through the complex process of purchasing a home. By acting as a virtual advisor, Smart Move helps users make informed decisions, access key financial resources, and save money on closing costs. The platform offers tailored property recommendations, virtual contractor insights, and predictive data on property values, ensuring buyers have all the information they need at their fingertips.

For many first-time buyers, navigating the home-buying process can be overwhelming due to the abundance of paperwork, financial considerations, and market uncertainties. Smart Move aims to bridge this gap by offering educational resources, personalized checklists, and supported negotiations to help users feel confident in their home-buying journey.
Validating the MVP for Market Readiness
The key objective of the project was to build and refine the early MVP version of Smart Move, incorporating initial user feedback to test business hypotheses and optimize functionality. Within the 45-day development cycle, Codemap Agency aimed to deliver a functional product that could undergo market validation and further refinement based on real user insights.

Agile Development for Rapid Market Testing
Codemap Agency leveraged its proprietary rapid development framework to build Smart Move’s MVP, ensuring a seamless and iterative process. The project was structured into two core development cycles:
Build Cycle 1: MVP Development
- Conducted project discovery, scope validation, and knowledge transfer.
- Designed UI/UX prototypes in Figma, focusing on an intuitive user experience.
- Developed the platform’s key features, including property matching, financial education tools, and homeownership readiness checklists.
- Performed initial quality assurance testing to ensure a stable foundation.
Build Cycle 2: Refinement & Enhancements
- Gathered feedback from early adopters and implemented necessary adjustments.
- Enhanced predictive analytics for property value insights and cost-saving strategies.

Leveraging No-Code for Efficiency & Scalability
To accelerate development and optimize future scalability, the Smart Move MVP was built using Bubble.io for both front-end and back-end functionality. While Bubble was chosen for its robust no-code capabilities, the architecture was designed to allow for seamless integration with third-party back-end services like Xano for enhanced performance in later iterations.
