Project Background
Promoting Financial Literacy from a Young Age
Monegra is an innovative, interactive mobile app designed to educate children aged 5-7 about personal savings and financial management. Through a series of quizzes, projects, videos, and challenges, the app empowers young users to make informed financial decisions, setting them on the path to financial independence as they grow older. The Monegra team approached our agency for assistance in developing a high-quality MVP using FlutterFlow’s no-code technology. The app aims to become a fun and engaging tool for children, guiding them through foundational lessons in money management.
Key Objectives and Goals
The primary objective was to design and develop a polished MVP for Monegra, leveraging FlutterFlow’s capabilities to build a native mobile application for both iOS and Android. This included clearly defining user flows, database design, and creating an engaging UI/UX prototype. Additionally, Monegra required backend integration for features like user authentication, video storage, quiz functionalities, savings management, and integration with third-party services through APIs.
Future Vision and Scalability
Post-MVP launch, Monegra plans to continue enhancing the app’s features with new educational content, interactive tools, and expansion into other regions and languages. The ongoing development may involve refining content and adding more financial literacy modules, while exploring partnerships to grow the platform's reach.
Our Approach
Structured and Iterative Development Process
Codemap Agency adopted a structured and agile development approach, divided into clear phases to ensure timely delivery of Monegra’s MVP. The key phases included discovery, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Phase 1: Discovery & Product Definition
The project kicked off with a comprehensive discovery phase to define product specifications, user stories, and user flows. This also involved creating a detailed project plan to outline timelines and milestones for development.
Phase 2: UI/UX Design & Prototyping
The design team developed an engaging UI/UX prototype directly in FlutterFlow, ensuring that the app would be intuitive for young users while also catering to parents with easy-to-use interfaces for managing settings and monitoring progress. The design incorporated features like language selection, video categories, and quiz interfaces.
Phase 3: Backend & API Integration
Our development team worked on setting up the app’s database, ensuring it was scalable for user data and content like videos and quizzes. We integrated third-party services for functionalities such as push notifications, user authentication via Google and Apple SSO, and payment integration with RevenueCat for premium subscriptions. The app's logic also included functionalities to track savings, quiz progress, and user engagement.
Phase 4: Final Testing & Deployment
A comprehensive review and testing phase was conducted, covering every aspect of the app's features to ensure they aligned with the technical specification and user needs. The testing included quality assurance of the core functionalities like quiz logic, content gallery, project tracking, and the savings goal system. Once all test cases were passed, the app was deployed to production for the initial launch.
